The PAPER STORY

“THE PAPER STORY” is one of the first projects created in my first year of MA in Digital Design at Thomas Bata University in Zlin. This project was created as a reaction to our school assignment theme “PAPER FURNITURE” on which we collaborated with product design students. However, me and my partner in this project, Hanka Šebáková, took a different approach and decided to capture the whole life of paper inside a piece of furniture. To emphasize the whole meaning of Paper in our lives, I’ve created this short animation.

This was my first time creating a 2D animation and as you can guess I was deeply inspired by the video clip to the song Anvil by Lorn, which in the end also ended up being used as the music in my animation.
